The Caribbean island of Grenada is one of the most beautiful tropical islands in the world. The national park is home of a very attractive fauna and flora and is an interesting place to visit at any time of the year. La Sagesse Nature Reserve is another attractive place with many nice rivers, salt lakes and mangroves.
From the beautiful Grande Anse Beach in St. George`s you can go on diving trips to many nearby small islands and coral reefs. Moliniere Reef is one of the most popular diving spots in the region, located about five kilometers from the capital. Martin`s Bay and the White Island Marine Park are a couple of other great diving spots.
When it comes to events and festivals, in February there is one very attractive Sailing Festival which attracts sailors and yachts from everywhere in the world. Month of August is reserved for one large and colorful Carnival. There are lots of interesting street parties, live music performances and calypso dancing competitions going on all day and night.
