This superb facility at the Gloria Palace San Agustin Hotel is equipped with modern technology and is one of the largest of its type in Europe. Set into the mountainside, with beautiful sea views, it’s the perfect spot for a holiday focused on health and wellbeing and mental and physical rejuvenation. The transparent domed roof creates a bright, naturally light atmosphere which is ideal for experiencing the ‘Get In Shape’ pool.
This pool contains warm seawater heated to 33º and includes 33 hydro massage points, including swimming against the current, seats with micro bubbles, cascades and hydro jets aimed at various parts of the body including shoulders, abdomen and thighs. Feel them tickle the soles of your feet before plunging into one of two pools nearby; if feeling brave try the plunge pool heated to 16º, or focus on relaxing in the other pool which is heated to 37º. For the energetic the hotel has a fully equipped gym, Turkish bath and sauna.
Individual treatments are tailored to meet client’s specific requirements, focusing on rheumatic conditions, stress related problems such as anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorders, weight loss and cellulite treatments and take place in 45 individual cubicles.
Afterwards relax in the specially designed surroundings, enjoying murals, sculptures and decorative paintings created by renowned local artist Pepe Damaso.
Facilities are open every day from 10.00 to 21.00.
In addition to the wonderful Thalassotherapy facilities there are other excellent options for recreation at Gloria Palace San Agustin. Two heated adult pools are perfect for a swim or relax nearby on a sunbed in the shade of a poolside umbrella on the large pool terrace. For lovers of naturism there is a separate, enclosed nudist area on the top floor of the hotel.
Enjoy a variety of games including table tennis, petanque, archery, target shooting, darts and pool. For tennis lovers there are 2 floodlit tennis court and 3 paddle tennis courts. Lessons can be arranged with an instructor.
For golf fans there are four excellent golf courses within driving distance of the hotel; the International Maspalomas Golf Course (5km), Meloneras Golf (8km), Salobre Golf (10km) and El Cortijo Golf Centre (40km). Discounts on green fees are available.
Gloria Palace San Agustin offers excellent facilities for children who will have great fun splashing about in the heated children’s pool and playing in the children’s playground.
Entertainment staff organize games and activities in Tina’s Club, the resort’s club for children aged 4 to 12 and in the evening children will enjoy the mini disco in the Bar/Salon.
