Costa Calero Location

The Hotel Costa Calero Hotel occupies a prime location, just 5 minutes from the picturesque luxury marina of Puerto Calero. The Hotel is also a short distance of just 3km from the very popular tourist destination of Puerto del Carmen and a reasonable 10km from the closest airport Arrecife which is also the Islands capital.

The Costa Calero Hotel Lanzarote is slightly set back from the beautiful marina which exaggerates the fantastic views of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean as it stretches towards Punta Gorda and neighbouring Canary Island of Fuerteventura.

The Marina is host to a number of different activities, including watersport excursions, shopping and several bars and restaurants. The main watersport offered at the Marina is scuba diving There are a couple of dive schools located around the marina as well as within the Costa Calero Hotel which welcome divers of all skill sets from a beginner to an advanced level. Many diving centres will also offer PADI registered courses.

If shopping is on the agenda during your stay then there is a small selection of shops throughout the local area. The highlights of these shops are some exquisite boutiques and souvenir shops which are more upmarket than other resorts across Lanzarote. Puerto Calero has many different options if you after something to eat or drink, with plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

If you are a keen golfer then the nearest golf course is in Costa Teguise which is about 15 – 20 minutes away by car. There are plans to build a new course Marina Azul which will be located closer to the Hotel as it is planned to be situated in Puerto Calero.
