Marmari Holidays

Up on the northwestern coast of Kos Island you will find the quiet, scenic town of Marmari. Dotted all along this beach are parasols and sun loungers, though there is still more than enough room to manoeuvre around the beach and enjoy yourself without worrying about being in people's way, or worry about having other people in your own personal space.

The beach here is quite and rather flat, which means the breeze easily picks up speed which not only makes it cool for those relaxing and soaking in the sun on the beach, but also provides a haven for windsurfers. There are also snorkelling tours and scuba diving schools with lessons available.

Natural Beuaty of Marmari

If spending time on the beach is grand, but you might want to spend some of your vacation off of the beach, you are in luck. Not only is there plenty of beautiful, picturesque natural sights to be seen while taking walks around Marmari, but there are plenty of sights of historical significance over in Kos Town. With Roman baths, Medieval castles and even a small, old amphitheatre that still has performances put on frequently, there is so much to take in and do. You can even take the drive to Pyli to check out the incredible ruined Byzantine castle.

Once you have found the right room for you, your vacation is set. You do not even have to worry about what time of the year you book your trip because the weather in Greece is pretty fantastic all year round. In the summer months the temperature sits around the mid-30s, while in the fall and winter months it only drops to around the mid-20s.
