Tingaki Holidays

Sitting up on the north coast of Kos, Tingaki is essentially the embodiment of tranquillity.

Some potential visitors may fear that the small coastal town may be too quiet, but this little town is just too beautiful to not take some time out of your Kos vacation to visit, even if you decide that staying along the beach is not for you. Tingaki Beaches

With over 6 km of soft, pure, white sand that gently swoops towards warm, shallow waters and a picturesque view of Turkey across the sea, the beach of Tingaki is perfect for sitting back, soaking in the sun and relaxing. The beach has plenty of sunloungers and parasols for rent so that you can create the perfect environment for yourself on the beach. Backing the beach is a row of restaurants and bars, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat after you work up an appetite frolicking in the surf or going to a serene walk down the beach. Though, for a quiet place, there is a lot more than just relaxing to be done on the beach. Tingaki is a premier destination for water sports. For example, you and your travel companions can partake in kite surfing, snorkelling or even just cruise along the coast in a pedalo.

Tingaki Nightlife

Even though there is not a huge night life in Tingaki that does not mean there is no night life. Instead of clubs and night clubs, evenings in Tingaki usually revolve around restaurants and bars and involve trivia nights, karaoke and live music. Rather than bottle service at a club, Tingaki evenings are more about unwinding and having conversations over a bottle (or two) of wine.

Tingaki is also only a 20 min. drive from the capital of the island, so your hotel and restaurant opportunities are endless. It also means that if you stay in Tingaki, you are in the perfect position to take a wonderful day trip to take in some of the magnificent sights surrounding the area, such as the 15th-century Crusader Castle of the Knights of Saint John, as well as the infamous Archaeological Museum. Of course, there is also a plethora of shopping destinations in Tingaki and surrounding areas.

When it comes to taking a trip to Tingaki you need not worry about the time of year you book your trip because the weather is always nice! During the summer months the temperature tends to bounce around the mid-30s and even come winter it hardly ever drops below the mid-20s.
