There are a few staples when it comes to a trip to San Antonio, and those are taking in the breathtaking sunset in Cafe del Mar, and taking in some of the top-notch late night clubs (sometimes even in the same night.) Either way, San Antonio is a consistently high ranking vacation destination for those looking to indulge in a vibrant, and lively night time experience. The perfect time to visit, in order to take full advantage of the booming night life, is between the beginning of July and carrying through until the first few weeks of September, as this is when a lot of the British holidays match up with the German, Scandinavian, Dutch and Italian guests combining for one heck of a party scene.

For a more calm vacation, May to June and the latter half of September leading into October are perfect for couples to enjoy the quiet, romantic side of San Antonio, or for families to fully take advantage of the safe, shallow, crystal clear waters of the bay, or any one of the brilliant, sandy beaches that are so close by.

San Antonio Sports, Water and Sun

San Antonio is not just all parties and clubs, though. There are lots of other activities for you and your vacation-mates to enjoy, especially if you lean slightly to the adventurous side of the scale. Located right in San Antonio are a few on-water adventurous that are sure to make any trip the most memorable one you will ever take. Some of these activities include jet ski rentals, para-sailing over the gorgeous bright blue bay, speed boat rides on super-fast boats (these trips race down the Ibiza coastline and give you a nice scouting trip of all of the beaches around,) and even Captain Nemo's boat trips (this trip also explores the coastline, but the boat has a glass-bottom so you can take in all the underwater treasures, and even take a break to swim in the beautiful turquoise surf.

You are also never too far away from a beautiful beach when staying in San Antonio, and that is something partying tourists and families can both enjoy. In the area of the San Antonio Bay there are about five small beaches, all within walking distance. They are all connected by the shoreline, so why not take a nice long stroll and spend the morning checking out all of the beaches in one long, but scenic stroll.

From the Bay, you also have the option of boarding a ferry and visiting other, bigger beaches in the area such as Cala Conta or Cala Bassa.
