There is a small entrance fee for this beach, but it is very nice and it is not crowded.

Nightlife is very low-key, without loud nightclubs or discos. There are some bars that have live music nights, but usually everything gets quiet before midnight. For those that seek night parties, resort of Faliraki is a short drive away.
Kalithea is one of those places on Rhodes Island that can serve as an ideal base for exploring the wider region. Close to Kalithea is the charming little village called Koskinou. It has a nice main square and many whitewashed houses with painted windows. There you can spend a relaxing afternoon wandering on the narrow cobbled streets. UNESCO protected World Heritage Site of Rhodes Town is also less than ten minutes drive away. There are lots of things to explore there, such as the Palace of Grand Masters, Street of the Knights or the Suleiman Mosque.
