Mesa Vouno is truly a wonder that leaves tourists spellbound and stunned by the beauty of the stark contrast of the dark rock shining and shimmering against the calm, blue sea. The rock is also a gorgeous sight to see come night time, as the dark rock shimmers in the moonlight.

While Perissa Beach has been a hot spot for vacationing locals for years, the Perissa resort has been seeing a massive influx in visitors as the area has been seeing a massive increase in tourism popularity, especially during the hot, summer months. This area is full of plenty of wonderful hotel options ranging from the more economical, to the standard, all the way up to the extremely lavish, and luxurious, meaning everyone will be able to find the right accommodation options for them while visiting Perissa.

The village in Perissa is also home to many wonderful restaurants that offer a variety of culinary options including traditional classic Greek dishes, as well as twists on international classics. There are also a lot of lovely bars, and cafes that make for lovely nights out.

While the high amount of amenities and facilities around Perissa may lead some to believe that the village has become overdeveloped, there is no fear of that. Perissa has managed to keep the charm, and traditional characteristics all while still building up the infrastructure needed to host so many different types of wonderful vacations.

While relaxing under a beach umbrella, and soaking in the sun on Perissa Beach is one of the main draws that bring people to Perissa, however there is plenty of other natural beauty that beings people here, such as the small, picturesque path that cuts through, and around the mountain range and leads to the ruins of Ancient Thera. While this trip can be done by foot, there is also an option to do the trek while riding a donkey.
