Malabar Beach is located on the northern coast of St Lucia, close to the town of Castries. Although it is still largely unspoiled beach, it does attract a fair share of visitors looking to relax on a beautiful golden sandy beach. There are also some mobile vendors that sell food or beverages on the beach. One of the closest restaurants to Malabar Beach is one very popular and quality Chinese restaurant. It is located just around two hundred meters from the beach and it is almost always full. The delicious soups and chicken dishes served there are very popular.
If you want to explore the region around Malabar Beach, you can go check out the interesting Choc Cemetery which is one of the few attractive spots to visit in the area. If you want to learn more about the culture and history of St Lucia then you should consider visiting the beautiful museum – St Lucia Folk Research Centre. It is just five minutes drive away and you can also reach it by taking a short relaxing walk by the beach. The attractive old town of Castries is just about two kilometers away from the Malabar Beach and it is another place worth visiting. There you have many shopping and dining options or you can go sightseeing and check out some of the historic buildings and squares.
