Ravda Holidays

Ravda is a small village located on the southeastern part of Black Sea Coast. It is less than five kilometers south from the two most popular resorts on the Black Sea – Nesebar and Sunny Beach. Also the city of Burgas and its airport are just about thirty kilometers away. If you seek a quality destination where you can fully relax and enjoy then Ravda is a good choice. Although fairly small, it is very close to the top destinations on the Black Sea Coast. Ravda is popular among young couples, students and those that want to vacation on a budget. There is wide variety of affordable accommodation and summer months are filled with students that come to spend their holiday here. It is mostly visited by young Bulgarians, but in the last few years many hotels and private villas were built attracting tourists from all over Europe.

Ravda has a continental climate with Mediterranean influences. Average summer temperatures are around 28 C, while the sea temperature is hottest in July and August averaging between 23 and 26 C. Winters are mild and not very wet.

Ravda Entertainment

Ravda also attracts younger generations because of the good evening entertainment. There are many discos, bars, restaurants where you can enjoy, and Nesebar is also very close if you want to change the scenery. The village of Ravda is very eco-friendly and still not that commercialized. Here you will find many good schools for water-skiing, yachting, windsurfing and rowing.

Ravda Beach

Ravda has one long sandy beach, which is divided in southern and northern part by the Cape Ravda. The southern beach is great for those seeking different kinds of entertainment, beach bars, water sport facilities and clean waters. On the other side, the northern beach is ideal for those that want to sunbathe on the beach and enjoy peace and quiet. The northern beach is mostly visited by families with children.

Suitable for all

Ravda is relatively quiet resort in comparison to other resorts nearby. It is suitable for people of all generations, and is very popular among youngsters and families with children. In and around Ravda there are no significant monuments or cultural things to see, as it is primarily village made for relaxation of the tourists. However, its close proximity and good connections with other close resorts means that you can easily explore the region. Those interested in historical places can visit Nesebar which is about fifteen minutes drive away.

Sunny Beach is perfect to visit for those seeking different forms of entertainment. You can take a boat trip to the nearby places and go on different excursions as well. Busses run regularly and good thing is that Ravda is on the same line with several popular tourist resorts. Aheloi, Sunny Beach, Nesebar, Elenite, Sv. Vlas are all within five kilometer radius. That means that Ravda can serve as a perfect base for exploring the whole Black Sea coast. In the summer season there is also one open tourist train which takes tourists to and back from Nesebar.
