On a similar note, Puerto Rico also offers visitors a chance to tackle a little big-game fishing, which has become an immensely popular activity amongst those visiting the resort in recent years.

While some may assume that the resort that caters to those looking for a wet, hot time may cater mostly to the adult side of the tourist scale, they would be wrong. Puerto Rico has an extremely family friendly side to it, and you will often see the beach front dotted with playing children as the summer month’s progress. And, despite the hot sun, the there is usually a gentle breeze coming in off of the sea which makes for the most ideal conditions for jumping into the warm Atlantic water and cooling off. Perfect for children, the water is usually very calm.

There is also a very popular public swimming pool located just a short hop, skip and a jump away from the beach. The pool is plotted nicely amongst wild flowers and exotic plants in an illustrious tropical garden. So, if you feel the beach is too crowded, for your liking, there is always another option to deep your feet into water for a cool down.

Puerto Rico is also home to a few golf courses, a family-friendly water park that features entertainment experiences for those of all ages. There is also a shopping centre located nearby, which is perfect for picking up a souvenir or two of your beautiful and luxurious Puerto Rico vacation.
