The climate during the summer months, (June-August) range from 72 °F to 86 °F during the summer months. June through August are the height of the season. Spring is a great time to visit. However, because the average temperatures for March, April and May rarely rise above 72 and the morning lows range between 41 to 54 °F, activities that involve swimming or water-sports other than fishing in the ocean are not practical. It is also a good idea to bring warmer clothing for the early mornings and late evenings spent strolling along the beach or visiting the local shops and other outdoor activities.
