Santa Ursula is a nice, little town in the northern part of Tenerife. It is not a typical holiday resort, but is a very good place if you want to explore the region and go hiking or walking. Scenery around Santa Ursula is very picturesque. There are lots of green hills and valleys, as well as beautiful parks. Hills offer great views, so if you enjoy sightseeing and relaxing in the nature – this is the place to be. Santa Ursula is not that commercialized as other holiday places on the island, but the town is fairly close to the capital city of Santa Cruz.

There are no beaches in Santa Ursula, and the closest one is located in Punta Brava near the resort of Puerto de la Cruz.
Santa Ursula is a very good place for tasting some local wines. The region around Santa Ursula is known for its vineyards, and here you will find lots of people that sell their local wines. This local wine has a very nice, fruity taste, but you should be careful as you can get drunk from it quite easily.
Another thing you can do in Santa Ursula is join in some of the many boat excursions that go from here to the other resorts and places on the Island. You can explore the Atlantic and its rich sea life, or you can go on some exciting volcano tours that start from here. Families can take a trip to the water park that is located in the resort of Puerto de la Cruz.
Santa Ursula has some smaller shops, where you can buy some art pieces or handicraft things. There are also many souvenir shops where you can buy something to remind you of your holiday. Santa Ursula does not have too many luxurious hotels. There is one bigger hotel that has a nice restaurant. Dining in the town is limited to a few smaller eateries that offer both local and international cuisine. If you want a bigger choice, you can go to some of the nearest resorts on the northern side of Tenerife. The nightlife in the town is very low-key and is mostly centered on family fun. There are a couple of bars with music, but everything gets quiet before midnight.
