While a lot of those who review Elia Beach say they prefer it because it is a nice change of pace, him quite a bit more quiet than some of the more tourist popular beaches such as Paradise and Plato Yialos. This makes the beach perfect for spreading at a beach blanket, hunkering down and soaking in the sun. With the common crystal-clear water, it is also the perfect place for a family-friendly beach trip, as there is plenty of safe water and even room to take a nice walk about. There is even a playground located on the beach perfect for younger children.

In part thanks to the many hotels, the beach area is also full of many wonderful restaurants offering everything from local fairs to more exotic culinary adventures, there are also a few beachside bars, if everyone knows soaking in the sun and frolicking in the surf is bound to make you hungry and more than a little bit thirsty.

Elia Beach is cleaned twice daily, so you are always insured safe clean environment in which to enjoy the beautiful Greek weather. On the beach you can also reserve wonderful sunbeds that have waiter service, as well as towels upon request. Located on the beach are also a few public showers so getting clean after again the sun is not difficult.

Of course, if laying back and soaking in the sun is not something you wanted you all day, never fear. Elia Beach is home to scuba diving and even parasailing.
