Mykonos Town is just ten minutes bus drive away towards north, and buses run every half an hour. From Platys Gialos you can take a boat excursion and visit some of the beaches located on the southern part of the island, such as Agrari, Paradise, Super Paradise, Elia and Paranga. Ancient location of Lito is also nice place to visit, where you can see archeological ruins dating back from the Hellenistic period.
