Tampa has a very good public transport and the city is well connected with other cities in Florida. There are regular tourist busses that go to Miami and Orlando. The airport is just ten kilometers away from the center of Tampa, so this city can also serve as a good base for exploring the wider region. Due to the fact that Tampa is a sunny city located on a coast with nice beaches, there are lots of hotels, motels, apartments and beach houses to choose from. Many popular hotels are located in the center of the city, very close to all nice restaurants and shops. Also there are many hotels with a great location by the beaches, offering some stunning views on the ocean.

In Tampa you will find plenty of quality restaurants, bars and cafés. Seaport area is a very lively place, with bars and restaurants that have nice terraces with sea views. Ybor district is a very vibrant place where you can try some traditional Hispanic cuisines, or you can go to some restaurants that offer quality seafood. Besides restaurants and beaches, Tampa is also known as a good destination for shoppers. Here you will find a large selection of different stores and shops. There are numerous shopping outlets, malls and department stores. Centro Ybor Mall is a very popular place for shopping, as well as the Old Hyde Park Village.
