The promenade is well connected with numerous surrounding parks, museums, restaurants and hotels. Tampa Bay History Center is close nearby where you can go and learn more about the history of the region. Curtis Hixon Park is situated on the banks of Hillsborough River spreading on over eight acres of land. Glazer Children’s Museum and Tampa Museum of Art are both located in this waterfront park in the center of Tampa.
