Kavos is the wildest and full of action resort, located on the southern tip of Corfu Island. This resort never sleeps and is well known for the parties that go non-stop day and night. The sea water in Kavos is very warm and pretty shallow. There are plenty of excursions that go from Kavos to the close aqua park, and there are numerous boat trips that take the tourists on sightseeing trips around the coast of Corfu. Those that want to learn more about the history and culture should definitely visit Corfu Town, while those that want to get some rest from partying can go on excursions to the interior villages of Corfu. Inner towns and villages are very peaceful, nice and unspoiled even in the peak of the summer season. Kavos has many interesting shops, but most of them are limited to selling souvenirs and usual tourist things. If you want better shopping you can take a bus to the capital Corfu Town, located about thirty kilometers away. In Kavos you will find lots of mini markets and smaller shops where you can buy all kinds of necessary things, like food or alcohol.

Kavos has plenty of options when it comes to eateries, restaurants, cafés and fast food shops. You can also find many restaurants that offer fresh seafood, and those that want to taste local cuisine have numerous places to buy gyros or souvlaki.

Kavos is considered a top destination for partying and clubbing on the whole island of Corfu. There are lots of bars, pubs and clubs with live music nights, foam parties, dancing shows and karaoke competitions. There are all kinds of night entertainment and the partying never stops. If you seek great parties and rich nightlife then Kavos is the place to visit. The resort mainly targets young, vibrant and energetic people. Those that want peaceful and calmer holiday should look for another resort. All the entertainment in Kavos is focused on people between ages 18 and 30, so it is better for the families with children to stay away from the main street in Kavos where partying is the wildest.
