Cambrils Holidays

Cambrils, together with Salou and La Pineda, is a place located in the Spain`s Costa Dorada or so-called “Golden Coast”. This coast stretches from Barcelona to Tarragona and it is extremely popular place for spending a holiday. Cambrils has a coastline that stretches for about seven kilometers, and most of it is consisted of nice and sandy beaches.

Cambrils is located on the southern part of the Golden Coast and is a much quieter tourist place than Salou. Cambrils is a typical Spanish town, with plenty of small, narrow streets, tapas bars and old buildings. Cambrils is a famous fishing village that turned to a holiday resort, but it is also known as a home of some of the best seafood restaurants in Spain. There are hundreds of seafood restaurants to choose from, so you will definitely have a great gastronomic experience if you come to this place.

Cambrils Weather

Cambrils has a year-round warm climate, which makes it an ideal spot for any kind of outdoor activity. In summer the average temperature is around 25 C, while in winter the temperature is between 10 and 15 C. Cyclists, hikers, runners, golfers, horse riders or tennis players will have no problems enjoying their activities in any month here. The place is also very caravan-friendly, and it offers some great locations for caravanning and camping. Cambrils Park is such a place where you can park your caravan and enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Cambrils Fishing Port

Cambrils` fishing port is definitely a place that should be visited. Afternoons are the best for doing so, as that is the time when the fishermen are getting back to the port with their catch from the sea. There is a fish market where you can purchase a fresh fish which will be later prepared for you in some of the nearby restaurants. Red tower, which is here located, offers a stunning panoramic view of the Cambrils` old part of town.

Cambril Marina

Cambrils` marina is located opposite from the fishing port. There are plenty of yachts, motorboats and sailboats which you can rent. If you do not want to rent you have the possibility to buy tickets for some boat trips in the region. Besides that, there is also a nice restaurant located in the yacht club with a nice overview on the marina where you can relax and enjoy a good meal.

Cambril Beaches

Cambrils is a popular tourist destination for families. Beaches are wide; sand is soft, while the waters are warm and calm. A few years ago Cambrils was recognized by the regional Catalonian government as the best tourist destination for families with small children. Cambrils also offers a wide variety of options for cultural, sports and leisure activities for tourists of all ages.

Cambrils Nightlife

Cambrils has a solid nightlife, although not that excessive like in the other tourist places on the Golden Coast. However, there are plenty of restaurants, pubs and bars for any taste. If you want more vibrant nightlife and livelier night atmosphere you can always visit the nearby town Salou. Cambrils and Salou are almost connected to each other and there are buses that go between these two towns every few minutes.
