It adjoins the town series of Mediterranean beaches and is lined with wonderfully stocked bars, restaurants, nightclubs, hotels and shopping centers making sure that every one of your needs can be taken care of for taking a leisurely stroll along the seaside.

Fuengirola Diving

Taking a dive into Fuengirola's long and rich history, tourists are most definitely encouraged to check out Fuengirola's iconic Sohail Castle. The castle is located on a hill just across from the sea and is actually a long-standing Arab fortress. However, its present-day appearance has been altered through several renovation projects. The castle now stands as a venue for concerts and cultural activities.

There is also the Finca del Secretario which is an archaeology site comprised of a fish salting factory and baths that dates back from the first of the fourth century A.D. At the visitor center, you can take in a full-scale reproduction of the Roman baths found in Fuengirola.

The zoo park Bioparc Fuengirola is a part dedicated to protecting biodiversity that works for species conservation, and is an absolute must see when visiting the town. The ecosystems found in the park, such as tropical forests, faithful re-creations of the actual conditions so visitors can have a realistic an amazing experience. Perhaps the best part of the zoo park is that it is located in the heart of town so that it isn't too out of the way to get to from your other day-to-day activities.
