Salou was once a port used by the Romans and Greeks in their conquests, but today Salou is considered as a center of all tourist activities in the Costa Dorada region. It is best to see this place at night, and it is located at the end of the promenade. Also, do not forget to visit the Old Railway Station called Estació de Carrilet, dating from the 19th century which was actually in use up until the mid 70s from the past century.
