There are plenty of slides, pools, rides and different interesting activities for people of all ages. Lloret De Mar has five different golden beaches, a theme park, Water Park and an aquatic zoo. In Lloret De Mar you will also find hundreds of clubs, discos and British themed pubs and bars. Most of them have some kind of programs and activities throughout the whole day.

In Lloret De Mar you can taste a different cuisine which is available in the hundreds of restaurants here. From traditional tapas, to British restaurants, Chinese, Italian or Mexican food – here you can find it all. If you want to taste true Spain you can go in some of the local restaurants or visit Lloret De Mar`s place called Placa de la Villa, where usually on weekends there is a nice program involving Catalonian traditional dances.

Puig de Castellet

A couple of kilometers away from the town`s center is the archaeological site Puig de Castellet, which is one of the oldest Iberian settlements. Castell de Sant Joan is another interesting place to visit, and this castle is located in the hills above Lloret De Mar. It dates back to the eleventh century, and is one of the protected heritage sites in the region. From here you can enjoy a great view on the Mediterranean Sea. Jardin Botanic Pinya de Rosa is a beautiful botanic garden near the Santa Cristina beach and from here you have a stunning look on the nearby cliffs and the sea.

Lloret de Mar Beaches

Speaking of beaches, Platja de Lloret is the longest beach in town which stretches to almost two kilometers. It is always busy and crowded, but it offers lots of exciting water activities. Platja Santa Cristina is a calmer beach, half a kilometer long, and is located near two hills. Beach is well protected from winds, so the water is always calm. Platja de Fenals is also a very popular beach where you can enjoy sunbathing, swimming and other activities.
