Sami is a picturesque coastal town on the eastern coast of Kefalonia. It is around twenty kilometers away from the capital Argostoli. After the blessings in the local monastery, the festivities continue in the town where you can see traditional dances and music performances, and taste local food and drinks. The Wine Festival lasts for two full days and is held in the close town of Fragata. It is organized by Robola Cooperation, which is the main producer of wines in Kefalonia. There are plenty of delicious wines to taste, while eating great local food and watching live music performances.
