Sagres is a very nice holiday resort in Algarve, located on the western corner of the region. It has a very good location and traditionally attracts families, surf lovers and backpackers. The waters are warm and nice and here you will find many surfing schools and beautiful beaches. Sagres is still relatively quiet place and tourist expansion has not spoiled the resort. Another interesting sight is the large compass called Wind Rose, which has a diameter of forty meters. Cabo de São Vincente is a place dedicated to St.Vincent, having big towers over 75 meters high.
